27 November 2026 is Black Friday. In Kazakhstan promotions start earlier and last longer than in the USA. This guide will help you not miss real discounts, avoid fake promotions and leave the sale with real savings instead of unnecessary items and debts.

27 November 2026 (Friday) is the official date of the global Black Friday. In Kazakhstan everything starts earlier and ends later. Stores and marketplaces launch promotions in mid-to-late November, and some stretch the sale for 7–10 days. Kaspi Жұма in November often runs in parallel or slightly earlier — this is the main “nationwide holiday of profitable shopping” with 0-0-24 instalments.

Do not wait until 27 November — start monitoring prices from the beginning of the month.

Global Black Friday — 27 November 2026.

In Kazakhstan major players — Wildberries, Ozon, Sulpak, Technodom, Mechta — usually start 3–7 days before this date and finish on Cyber Monday, i.e. 30 November – 1 December.

Kaspi Жұма in November 2026 is expected in the first or second decade of the month, following the tradition of three annual promotions. Exact dates are announced in the Kaspi.kz app 1–2 weeks in advance. In 2025 it lasted 4 days — from 6 to 9 November. Watch for notifications in the app.

Kaspi Жұма and Black Friday are not the same thing. Kaspi Жұма is a separate Kaspi.kz promotion where the main focus is often on instalments, bonuses and mass purchases through the app. Black Friday is the global sale that marketplaces, electronics chains, clothing stores, cosmetics, home goods and offline retail join.

In practice, for a buyer in Kazakhstan this is one big discount season in November. That is why it is better to focus not on the name of the promotion but on the final price, warranty, delivery and return conditions and your own budget.

Kaspi.kz — the main player. 0-0-24 instalments, bonuses, delivery across Kazakhstan. Often the most convenient conditions are exactly here.

Wildberries.kz and Ozon.kz — huge selection of clothing, shoes and home goods. Discounts up to 50–70 % are often found on last year’s collections. Delivery to regions may take 5–10 days at peak times.

Sulpak, Technodom, Mechta — electronics and household appliances. Real discounts of 30–60 % are more common on last year’s models, display stock or items the stores want to clear quickly.

Local chains — Magnum, Green, clothing stores and district retail outlets — also run offline promotions, but the selection is usually smaller than online.

The difference in approach is simple: marketplaces have more items and seller competition, so prices are lower; electronics chains offer official warranty and the chance to see the item in person; Kaspi offers the most convenient instalments and the fastest purchase process.

Stores sometimes raise the price 2–3 weeks before a promotion and then show a “discount” from the inflated base. That is why a big number on the banner does not always mean real benefit.

How to check a discount:
1. Compare the price for the last 30 days in the Kaspi app or on the store website.
2. Look at the recommended retail price. If the 70 % discount is calculated from the RRP while the usual market price was lower, this is marketing.
3. Do not trust only the yellow price tag in offline stores — it does not always mean the best price.
4. Use price comparison services or simply save screenshots in advance.
5. If the discount looks too big — 80–90 %, check whether it is a markdown due to a defect, display model or incomplete set.

The main rule: compare not the discount size but the final price of the item from several sellers.

Profitable to buy:
- electronics and appliances from the previous generation: smartphones, laptops, vacuum cleaners, washing machines;
- clothing and shoes from previous collections;
- home goods: bedding, dishes, small appliances;
- cosmetics and perfumes, where real 40–60 % discounts are common.

Not worth buying:
- new season items — discounts on them are usually minimal;
- impulse items: cheap gadgets and accessories you will not use later;
- appliances without warranty from an official seller;
- “just in case” items if they were not on your list before the sale.

The best Black Friday purchase is not the biggest discount but an item you were already planning to buy.

If the item was not needed before the discount, it does not become needed just because it became cheaper.

3. 1 week before — choose cards with maximum cashback and check instalment limits.
4. On the day the sale starts — begin with Kaspi and marketplaces in the morning. Prices update faster and popular items sell out quickly.
5. After purchase keep the receipt, photos of packaging, delivery conditions and warranty information.
6. One week later analyse what you bought and how much you really saved.

Useful life hack: create a simple table with columns “item”, “price before sale”, “price during sale”, “delivery”, “cashback”, “final price”. This way you will see the real benefit, not the advertising one.

Kaspi Red and 0-0-24 instalments are convenient tools, but essentially they are credit. Pay on time, otherwise penalties, late fees and credit history damage are possible. Do not take instalments if you are not sure you can comfortably close all payments.

During Black Friday scammers become active. They create fake sites, send “you won” messages, copy marketplace pages and offer unrealistically big discounts.

How to protect yourself:
- go to sites only via official links from the apps;
- do not open suspicious “Black Friday win” emails;
- check the website address before paying;
- do not enter card details on unfamiliar pages;
- check the seller on marketplaces: rating, reviews, store age, number of sales;
- for large purchases choose official stores with warranty.

If a store asks you to transfer money to a private card for expensive appliances — this is a reason to stop.

Under the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Protection of Consumer Rights” promotional goods can be returned and exchanged on the same terms as regular ones. The discount itself does not deprive the buyer of rights.

Main rules:
- 14 days to return goods of proper quality if the original appearance, receipts, tags and packaging are preserved;
- for defects you can demand repair, exchange, refund or another solution under warranty;
- instalments upon return are cancelled or recalculated according to the bank and seller’s rules;
- the seller has no right to write “promotional item is non-returnable” if the law allows return.

Keep the receipt, warranty card, correspondence with the seller and screenshots of promotion conditions. This will help resolve disputes faster.
