In 2026 renting an apartment daily in Kazakhstan is often cheaper and more convenient than staying in a hotel. You get a full kitchen, washing machine and space for a family or group — while paying less. The main thing is not to overpay 20–50 % commission to agents and not to fall for scammers.

An apartment for a day gives you freedom: cook yourself, work at a table, don’t worry about children’s noise. According to portal data, the average price for a 1-room apartment daily in Almaty is 15–18 thousand ₸, in Astana — 12–15 thousand ₸. A room in a 3* hotel in the same districts is often more expensive, with minimal service.

Krisha.kz — market leader.
Thousands of listings, convenient filter “from owner” (das[who]=1). In Almaty there are now more than 6,000 listings from owners, in Astana — more than 7,700. There is online booking with a calendar. Zero commission on direct contact.

OLX.kz — lots of fresh “without middlemen” listings.
Updates quickly, convenient to search by price and district. Owners often post themselves.

Livin.kz — local service with owner verification.
Daily payouts to owners, convenient calendar, protection against double booking. Ideal for those who want minimum risk.

Airbnb — for those who value reviews and photos.
More guarantees of money back, but prices are 10–20 % higher because of the platform commission. Good for the first booking in an unfamiliar city.

Sutochno.ru and Apartamenty.kz — direct owner contacts, no markup.

Telegram channels and Onetap.kz bot — the fastest option.
Channels like @arenda_kvartir_sutki and city chats post “right now” listings. Downside — no platform protection, check everything yourself.

When it is better to book directly:
If the stay is 3–4 days or more and you are already in the city — Krisha + call the owner. If it is your first time in the city and protection is important — Airbnb or Livin.

Almaty: 1-room from 10,000–16,000 ₸ (Bostandyk, Almaly districts), 2-room 18,000–30,000 ₸. Premium — up to 35,000 ₸.
Astana: 1-room 8,000–15,000 ₸, 2-room 15,000–25,000 ₸.
Shymkent: from 8,000–15,000 ₸ for a 1-room — one of the most budget-friendly major cities.

5. Discuss conditions: check-in/out time, cleaning, Wi-Fi, parking.
6. Conclude a contract (even a simple one in WhatsApp) and transfer money only after confirmation.
7. Upon check-in check the meters and take photos of the apartment’s condition.
8. After check-out ask for confirmation of deposit refund.

• Photos from the internet or old ones (ask for video).
• Too low price (“urgent, 5,000 ₸”).
• Refuse to show documents for the apartment.
• Write from new accounts with 1–2 listings.

Rule: never transfer money until you have seen the apartment or received confirmation from the platform.
