Household Appliances on Discount in Kazakhstan: Sales and Choice Without Overpaying

Want a new refrigerator, washing machine or stove without overpaying for a crossed-out price? In Kazakhstan it is possible to save 20-60 % on household appliances if you know the seasonal waves and where to look for discounted models. The biggest discounts fall in November — this is officially the cheapest month of the year.
- 11.11 (Singles Day) — strong discounts on Chinese and Korean appliances (LG, Samsung, Bosch).
- Black Friday (usually 27-30 November) — discounts up to 50-60 % on refrigerators, washing machines and dishwashers at Technodom, Sulpak and Mechta.

- Red flags: promotion only on one model, "was" price existed for only 1-2 days, discount disappears after adding to cart.
- A real promotion usually lasts 3-7 days and covers entire categories.

- Restored — fully working after repair.

Warranty is usually preserved (from 12 months).

- An A+++ refrigerator consumes 150-250 kWh less per year than class B.
- Savings — 2,300-3,850 ₸ per year on one refrigerator alone.
- Over 10 years — 23-38 thousand tenge.

Choose at least A+ — the price difference pays for itself in 2-3 years.

• Kaspi 0-0-24 instalments — no down payment and no overpayments (promotions run regularly).
• Cashback — through banks or services up to 5-10 %.
• Do not forget about delivery (free above a certain amount), lifting to the floor (from 1,000 ₸ per floor) and installation (from 5,000 ₸ for a washing machine or stove).

• Falling for "hurry before the end of the day" without checking price history.
• Not counting installation and consumables costs (filters, hoses).
• Buying appliances without measuring for built-in installation.
• Ignoring the energy efficiency class.
