Marketplaces in Kazakhstan: How to Buy Profitably on Kaspi, Ozon, Wildberries and Temu in 2026

Every month millions of Kazakhstanis order goods online. Kaspi Store, Ozon.kz, Wildberries.kz and Temu are the four most popular platforms. But where is it really cheaper, faster and safer? We have collected up-to-date information as of May 2026 from official rules and real buyer reviews.

Kaspi Store — convenience and speed
Kaspi Store is the local leader. Most sellers are Kazakhstani or have warehouses in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Payment via Kaspi Pay, 0-0-12/24 instalments, Red/Gold bonuses. Delivery is often same-day in Almaty and Astana, 1-3 days across Kazakhstan. From January 2026 delivery tariffs for sellers changed, but for buyers the cost remains transparent and often low.

Ozon.kz — assortment and Premium subscription
Ozon.kz offers a wide assortment, including goods from Russia and local warehouses. There are pickup points across the country. The Ozon Premium subscription gives free courier delivery above a certain amount and priority returns.

Wildberries.kz — low prices and logistics
Wildberries.kz is strong in clothing, shoes and home goods. It has a developed network of pickup points. Delivery is usually 3-7 days to major cities. Buyers note competitive prices, but sometimes more defective items than on Kaspi.

Temu — ultra-cheap goods from China
Temu is a Chinese platform with ultra-low prices. Delivery is from China, so delivery times are 10-25 days. There are no local warehouses in the Republic of Kazakhstan, but goods often arrive directly. Quality ranges from "excellent for the price" to "one-time use".

According to 2025-2026 reviews:
- For electronics and gadgets Kaspi is often more profitable — fast delivery, official warranty and interest-free instalments.
- Clothing, shoes, home goods — Ozon and Wildberries are usually 15-30% cheaper than Kaspi.
- Small items (accessories, kitchenware, cosmetics) — Temu wins on price, but factor in waiting time.

Always calculate the full cost: price + delivery + possible duties. This total shows the real benefit, not just the price in the product card.

Kaspi, Ozon and Wildberries deliver mainly from local warehouses — no duties apply. Kaspi's strong point is most often speed and convenient payment through the app. Ozon and Wildberries usually win on assortment and prices, but delivery time may be longer.

Temu delivers goods from China. That is why the low price is often offset by waiting time: a parcel can take 10-25 days, sometimes longer. If you need an item urgently, Temu is rarely the best choice, even if the price looks the lowest.

Under the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan — 14 days for goods of proper quality if the original appearance, packaging and receipt are preserved. Defective items can be returned within the warranty period.

On Kaspi returns are usually processed through the app, parcel locker or courier. On Ozon returns are often possible through a pickup point or courier. On Wildberries returns are processed through a pickup point. On Temu the return policy may allow up to 90 days, but in practice returning to China is inconvenient and time-consuming.

Temu — parcels from abroad. As of May 2026 the duty-free limit is 200 euros per parcel. From 1 July 2026, if the limit is exceeded: 5% duty on the full value + VAT at the rate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, but not less than 1 euro per kg.

Declaration is usually handled by the delivery service. If a parcel is held at customs — write to Temu support and check notifications from the delivery service. For Kaspi, Ozon and Wildberries duties are usually not relevant if the goods are on a local warehouse or have already been imported by the seller.

Do not compare only the price in the product card. Compare the full cost:
1. Product price.
2. Delivery cost.
3. Possible duties and VAT if the item comes from abroad.
4. Return cost if the item does not fit.
5. Waiting time — sometimes fast delivery saves not money but time and nerves.

Example: if on Temu an item is 3,000 tenge cheaper but you wait 20 days and there is a risk of inconvenient returns, Kaspi or Ozon may be more profitable for an urgent purchase.

On all platforms check:

- Age of the store.

• Ozon: Premium subscription often pays for itself after 2-3 orders if you regularly use free courier delivery.
• Wildberries and Ozon: watch for "Brand Day", "Big Sale", seasonal discounts and promo codes.
• Temu: new users often receive coupons for the first order.
• General tips: use cashback services where available and compare prices on all four platforms before buying. Prices for popular items change daily.

• "Discount" from an inflated base price. Before a sale the price may be artificially raised and then returned to the normal level as a "discounted" price.
• Fake reviews. Read recent reviews with photos and videos, not just the overall rating.
• Hidden delivery fees. Always check the final amount before paying.
• "Gift" that later turns out to be paid or affects return conditions.
• On Temu — the item may arrive in a different colour, size or with differences from the photo. Always read the description and look at real buyer photos.

Kaspi
Process the return in the app -> choose a parcel locker or courier -> hand over the item with packaging and receipt. Money is refunded after the seller accepts it.

Ozon
Process the return through the app. Free returns through pickup points or courier are often available. For defective items attach photos and a description of the problem.

Wildberries
Returns are processed through a pickup point. If the item is defective, the seller should pay for the return shipping. For proper quality items check the conditions in the order card in advance.

Temu
Returns may be available up to 90 days according to platform policy, but shipping back to China is often inconvenient and may be at your expense. Money is usually refunded after the seller receives the parcel, sometimes up to 30 days.

It is profitable to buy online:

5. Check the seller: rating, store age, number of orders.

7. Upon receipt check completeness immediately.
8. If you need to return — process the return in the app within 14 days.
