Traffic Fines PDD: Check and Pay with 50% Discount in Kazakhstan

Forgot about a camera or traffic police post? Don’t panic. You can check all fines for free in 3 minutes and pay them with a 50% discount if you manage to do it in time. This article contains only working 2026 instructions for official services.

Every month thousands of drivers in Kazakhstan pay fines in full although they could have saved half. The main thing is to manage within the short benefit period and use only official services. In 2026 the rules remain the same: the 50% discount works if you follow simple conditions. Below is everything you need to know so you don’t overpay and avoid problems.

It is better to check fines in several places at once — data sometimes appears with a small delay.

Via eGov.kz and the eGov Mobile app
Go to your personal account (authorisation by IIN + SMS or EDS). Go to the service “Search and payment of administrative fines and fines for traffic violations”. Enter your IIN — the system will show all unpaid resolutions. In the eGov Mobile app it is even simpler: one click in the “Fines” section.

Via Qamqor.gov.kz
This is the official service of the Committee for Legal Statistics of the Prosecutor General’s Office. On the main page choose “Айыппұлдар туралы біл” (or go via the direct link to ERAP). Enter your IIN or ID number + date of issue. You can also check by car plate number.

In the Kaspi.kz app
Section “Payments → Fines and taxes → Fines”. Enter your IIN — fines load instantly. The same works in Halyk, Forte and other second-tier banks.

What data is needed
- IIN (main method).
- Car plate number + technical passport (for checking by vehicle).
- Resolution number (if you already know it).

Fines from “Sergek” cameras and manual protocols usually appear in the databases within 1–3 days.

According to the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Article 811 — simplified proceedings), you have the right to pay only half of the fine if:
- you admit the violation;
- you do not appeal the evidence;
- you pay within 7 days from the moment the resolution is registered.

How to count 7 days
The countdown starts the day after registration. Holidays and weekends are not counted. Within these 7 days the services already show the reduced amount.

Which fines CANNOT be paid with the discount
The discount does not apply if the article of the Code of Administrative Offences provides not only a fine but also arrest, licence suspension, confiscation or other measures. The discount is also unavailable for certain “serious” offences (drunk driving, repeated serious violations, etc.). The exact list is better checked in the resolution itself — it states whether the benefit is available.

1. Check the fine in eGov, Qamqor or Kaspi (see above).
2. Within 7 days click “Pay”. The system will automatically show the amount with a 50% discount.
3. Choose a payment method (card, Kaspi Red, Halyk, etc.).
4. Confirm the payment. The receipt will come by email and will be saved in your personal account.

Via Kaspi
Payments → Fines → choose the resolution → “Pay with discount”. Commission is usually minimal or absent during the benefit period.

Via eGov
The “Pay” button leads to the payment gateway. Commission — 100 tenge. Money reaches the Treasury in 1–2 working days.

In Kaspi and eGov you can pay by resolution number or by the owner’s IIN. If the car is registered to your wife/parents — ask them to check in their account or pay using the resolution details (BIC, KBK, resolution number). The main thing is to enter all data accurately so the payment is credited correctly.

• The fine is not visible immediately — wait 1–3 days (especially cameras).
• Check the authenticity of the resolution by number on Qamqor or eGov.
• If there is an error (you were not driving, wrong car number, poor photo) — appeal via Qamqor.gov.kz in the section “Appeal of administrative offences”. Authorise with EDS and submit an appeal.

Important: while the appeal is being processed, the fine is considered unacknowledged. The discount may “burn”. If you are afraid of losing the 50%, pay half and submit the appeal at the same time — in case of success the money will be refunded.

The appeal period is 10 days from the moment the resolution is handed over/received. Submit via Qamqor (erap-public.kgp.kz) or in person to the authority that issued the fine. If the case is complex — it is better to consult a car lawyer so you do not miss the benefit period.

After 7 days the fine becomes full. Then comes enforcement proceedings, penalties, travel ban, account arrest or restriction of registration actions with the car. It is better not to let it get that far.

Pay only through:
- eGov.kz
- Qamqor.gov.kz
- official bank apps (Kaspi, Halyk, etc.)
- Kazpost

Avoid dubious sites with the button “Check fines in 1 minute” and a request to enter card details.

• Enable SMS from 1414.
• Turn on push notifications in Kaspi and eGov Mobile.
• Set up notifications in your eGov personal account.

Check fines once every 1–2 weeks — it takes a minute. Pay within the first 7 days — you will save half. Use only official services — and there will be no problems. Saving on fines is also part of a smart approach to car expenses.
